How do you create hyperlinks I'm not sure how to do it on this website. Do I have to parse a url(whatever that means)? And I understand what can and can't be linked I read the forum rules.

Hi, a url is a web address, something like this:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/URL.
You can either type it and the forum transforms it itself to a hyperlink or you can use bbc (bulletin board code).
- Code: Select all
The address between an opening and a closing will create the hyperlink as seen above. Clicking on the button will create this in the text box: , so you can put your url inbetween like:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/URL
You can also hide the url behind words. For that you type a "=" without quotation marks and the url, sometimes with quotationarks, depends on the bulletin board, in the opening Then you type a text, to be shown instead of the url and end it with the closing .
That'll loke like this then:
The wikipedia hyperlink and will create:
The wikipedia hyperlink
