New member questions.

I might have been on these forums before but I don't remember the name of the site or my log in info. The name of this site sounds somewhat familiar but the appearance doesn't seem familiar at all. Regardless it's probably not important to my questions.

I feel like I am struggling in life and I kind of want a place to talk about what I am going through and try to work things out. What I talk about or the range of subjects are probably many. And I am not sure the best way to go about this. Do I create an online journal or a blog? Do I just post under the various topics in these forums? Do I post elsewhere online? Like in a discord, reddit, or on some other site? What if I just want to talk about many things in one post how do I pick a topic to post under? Also I seem to struggle finding the right place to post what I want to say. My post often gets deleted because I didn't post it in the correct topic. I find this very frustrating. Because I can't seem to find the correct topic or if what I want to say covers or involves many topics or aspects.

While we usually don't delete posts for being off-topic , we may occasionally move them to a forum where we think you'll get better responses . Posting in other forums is fine but please don't copy/paste the same topic or questions into multiple forums .

As a rule , you can talk about any mental health issues in the Living with Mental Illness forum . If you're looking to connect with others who share a specific diagnosis or symptoms , posting in the relative forum will possibly be more helpful . Some of them have been rather quiet though .

Starting a blog is also an option for putting your thoughts together through writing .
