Do Forum rules only apply to certain members?

I've had two posts of mine edited by moderators because I used a font color besides black. A moderator told me only DID members can use colors within their posts. However, I've noticed many non-DID members use colors within their posts, and they continue to do so.

So my question becomes -- are we allowed to use colors when we post? Or do certain rules only apply to certain members? It's discriminatory that certain members are allowed to break forum rules.

If anyone sees a post that they believe is breaking forum rules , by all means feel free to notify a Mod using the Report Post function .
