so, i gave these a first pass. the first is, to my mind, the best, as i think it's more accessible than the others.
now, of poetry, one can, of course, just write for one's self. poetry can, after all, be very cathartic. it doesn't have to mean anything to anyone else. and i'm undoubtedly guilty of this. if someone happens to like a poem that i wrote, it isn't that i intended that they should. and i think your poems fit that mould rather well.
what i will say is that if you do intend to write for others, it is necessary to consider whether your allusions have any common currency. now, this is tricky. good poetry says things that are sort of obvious in a rather unobvious way. this is where a flare for originality gives a poem a sense of creativity.
the other thing that poetry does is to allow us to reach emotional depths, and heights, that mere description would deny. poetry is a sort of rapture. it embraces the soul. as such, i will say this: it's all well and good plunging the depths but don't forget to reach for the heights too.
something knocked me out' the trees
now i'm on my knees
... don't you know you're gonna shock the monkey
there is one thing you must be sure of
i can't take any more
... don't you know you're gonna shock the monkey
don't like it but i guess i'm learning
... shock the monkey to life
