Post-killing message?

Postby naps » Wed Sep 27, 2017 4:54 pm

I have been getting this message when composing posts:

Image

If I try to get rid of it by going back a page, my draft disappears.     Is there a way to defeat this? Where's the reload button?

Also, whenever I hit the "submit" button, lasers come out from the Psychforums logo and vaporize my cats.

Yes.

You can try to feed your cats absinthe. They might start stumbling around a bit so that the PF rays will miss them. From that point on, you might want to cover your genitals with a teflon saucepan or any homologous device as the rays will keep searching for something to vaporize.

Let us know how it goes !

:D

I tried that but I foolishly used a stainless steel saucepan and it deflected the lasers out the window and now most of New York is in flames. :(

PS Brownie points to you for being able to identify Lars!!!

Is this when composing a long post? Or does it happen even on short ones? Is it still happening a lot?

Long posts. But now I'm not so sure. I think I got that message earlier today when I wasn't on the forum, although I can't say for sure that I didn't have a PF page tucked away on my dock at the time.

It hasn't happened yet today while I've been here. It's possible that it's my computer. It's more infected than a crackwhore.

If it happens again while I am composing a message, believe me, you will hear about it.

I've gotten errors similar to that, but usually something I inadvertently did, if I recall correctly. It's been a while.

It's possible. I'm somewhat careless with the keyboard.

Great signature, by the way.

OK. It just appeared again, and I know why.

Sometimes if I post a link, I will check to make sure it works properly when previewing my post. It does not open in a new window, and if I try to go back a page to return to the previewed draft, I get the message. It also happens if I accidentally go back a page (my mouse has a mind of it's own) and try to return.

So yeah, it's me.

Heh- thanks. Try it sometime when you want to confuse someone....

Yes I had thought, that when I accidentally go Back a page, I have gotten an error. Not every time, but sometimes. Glad you're got that figured out, then!
