I'm glad this thread is here. I was a bit baffled as to why there was no option to adjust my profile.

I finally picked an avatar from the gallery. I got sick of not having an avatar. Why no devils in the gallery????

I don't really know why there aren't any devils there but when we get the upgrade (which I don't know when it will be exactly), but you will be able to get an avatar like before.

Was wondering why my Zigzagoon avatar wouldn't show, and why I couldn't find an upload button after I recropped it. Searched the Rules and FAQ and found nothing. Should probably add something about the avatars to the FAQ.

And considering it's May, I don't have much hope of custom avatars coming back.

If I had to use a default icon, I would at least prefer a better Luigi.

Hopefully we'll get them back with the site upgrade. It's proceeding slowly, but it is in the process of becoming reality. A new version of the forum, plus much more mobile-friendly.

If/when we do get our outside avvies back, they will need to be linked via https.

In the meantime, you can still stick a tiny version in your sig line, as several of us more petulant mods have done....
