Ah, there are a number of forums that don't have
named mods. They are still looked after by the mod team though. Just on a less formal basis than having a designated contact for the forum. A lot of quiet tidying and support goes on behind the scenes. As Truth mentioned in that thread. Anyone can report a problem post at any time. Or PM a mod with a discreet question or nudge.
Mods aren't "different" in any way. Not paid or hired or anything like that. Just regular members who like orderly conversations and calm down chaos. I think several people in NPD are already doing that very supportively.
