Quoting others comments/posts

How do I take a part of what someone said in a previous comment/post and put it into my reply? So that I'm addressing them I guess is what i'm trying to ask. I hope this makes sense. If it does, lol, how do I do this?

On the main forum, there's a ""Quote" button in the upper right corner of their post. In the reply part of the site, you scroll down and it shows other comments, and in the upper right, there's a quote button.
