Why is the pm I sent in my outbox instead of my sent folder?

I sent a pm about 9 hours ago, but I don't think it went out yet. Did it?

The system doesn't call it "Sent" until the recipient has opened it. So, it's just waiting for them at the moment, in your Outbox. :D
