Redirects to Malicious Websites

Why is psychforums every say... 5-10 new pages I get redirected to malicious websites?

What's going on here?

To elaborate before the redirects were to various websites which probably did have malicious links but themselves weren't doing anything themselves. Now one of the redirects initiatiates a download of a malicious program that luckily Chrome is blocking. It's VERY concerning.

I believe it's one of the adverts. But don't know which one. We are aware of it and are trying to get it sorted out ASAP.
