Question for Site Administrator

Why is Gambling Addiction a subcategory of Spending Addiction on the forums? I believe that is totally inappropriate. Unlike Spending Addiction, Gambling Addiction has been medically recognized by several medical boards and mental health concerns.

The core layout of the forum was decided many many many years ago before any of the current moderators or even the site owner were ever even here. I'm sure there was probably some logical reason why they decided to lay things out the way they did at the time. Seeing as it was so long ago, I'd imagine there was a chance that Gambling Addiction might not have even been officially recognised then, I'm not sure when that first got recognised. Occasionally we review the forums and see if changes are needed, so when that next comes up I will mention this.
