How long does it take to notice increase in prozac?

Have increased my prozac from 20 to 30 how long will it take till I feel the full effects of the higher dose? It took about a month to notice my very first dose of prozac would this be the same for the increase? Thanks!

It can often take a few weeks in my experience to notice the effects of Med changes. The docs will tell you it can take 6-8 weeks but I've found 2 or 3 weeks is about average.

I definatly can feel the difference now, took about 4 weeks if anyone else were wondering the same thing

You know when I started on 20 mg it took 2 weeks to see a difference and then a month for the full effect. Then it died so they bumped it to 40. After two weeks I didn't see much of a difference and assumed I should've. So we bu,per it to 60 about two weeks ago. I should've been more patient.... hopefully the 60 isn't overkill for OCD....
