Lamictal and Ativan

Looking for feedback on Lamictal for use with BPD/Bilpoar II and Eating disorders
Also, on Ativan for anxiety.

I can't vouch for Lamictal because I don't take it but I hear it's an excillent medication for bipolar disorder.

Ativan I take however to manage an anxiety condition. I take 1mg four times daily. It works very well at controlling the anxiety and panic attacks.

I liked Lamictal quite a lot. I would have an occasional tremor in my hands, but it was very slight and quite mild as far as side effects are concerned. Unfortunately when my dosage was increased, I experienced double vision. My reaction isn’t typical, so I would give it a try if your doctor is recommending it.

I used to use Ativan as needed for anxiety. This was helpful, but it was also problematic. If I came down with a bad panic attack, I would take more than needed and end up wasting the rest of the day in bed. They do take about 20 minutes to kick in, and being in a panic I would never wait that long.
