Anyone on them that wants to discuss their effects? I'm currently on Adderall XR 10mg.

I have a friend who takes adderall to keep herself up for all-nighter study sessions. It did work for her since she was able to stay up and focus for hours on end; but it seems to have an addictive effect. According to her, "Once she started it, it's hard to come off."

Yes, I agree with the above post. Aderall is really addictive. However there are some supplements that can help coping up with it like, amphetarestore, incase you haven't heard of it yet. I have been taking it along with my other meds and I must say, it is helping a lot because I never want to increase my med's doses. It helps by lowering your dependency to whatever it is your taking and it also works as a detoxifying agent. Check it out here...www.amphetarestore.com

Hope it helps you as it helped me.

Well, I'm not trying to quit or anything. I just started and I wanted to see how it worked for other people. I personally don't feel like I'm addicted to it although I feel a bit exhausted when it wears off, but then again it's close to midnight when that happens.

Only change for me I noticed was that I feel slightly more energetic whereas before I often felt like I was depleted from inside and tired all the time. As for the actual effect of concentration... hard to say really. I feel somewhat more focused but not enough to actually feel any difference. I mean, I still get distracted easily and screw around wasting my time :(. I feel like I have to raise the dosage to 20mg or higher.

This is what I'm talking about. Sooner or later you'll find yourself popping too much of it and feels like it's not enough.

I was on adderall, switched to adderall xr and went back to adderall because I didn't like the effects. I know they're basically the same drug, but I liked the way the adderall worked throughout the day better.

I'm only on 5mg, my body is super sensitive to medication.

I find it works best when I set my alarm in the morning about an hour before I actually need to get up, and I take it and go back to sleep. when my second alarm rings an hour later, I am up and ready to go! try it! :D
