Is prozac an anti-depressent?

Old thread, but just say, I don't take prozac. I could get prozac for free over here but it does nothing for me. I currently take St.Johns wort and 5-HTP together. I've noticed I have less mood swings, tend to be more calmer then I was before. It's expensive stuff but it seems to be doing well for me so far and I can't say I've felt any side-effects.
