Any one know why Wellbutrin is not sold in Australia?
We have Zyban but the docs will prescribe it for only 3months since its a smoking cessation aid.
I am on my 3rd week on Zyban and the results are great, I have quit smoking and feeling so much better than before.
I have tried most of the ssri on the market and the side effects are terrible.
I really want to use Wellbutrin for my depression!

Don't quote me but after doing some research, I believe the reason is that they do a cost-benefit analysis and Bupropion is one of the more expensive antidepressants out there. It's indicated as a smoking cessation aid probably due to the fact that people will only be on it temporarily.
