While I wish I did not need to rely on drugs for mental health it is, unfortunately, very necessary. I can honestly say that after 8 months of taking Lexapro I am much, much better than before. I am functioning at a much higher level. I am able to do schoolwork, work a part-time job, and have a decent social life. Best of all I have practically no side-effects (sexual or otherwise). While I am concerned about the long-term effects of taking such drugs I recognize that without them I would be leading a VERY different life. So how about others out there? What are your experiences with different drugs? Good or bad?

Ive been on drugs because everyone says I should
I don't WANT to be though so I don't stay on for too long.
So in that experence they make me feel worse like I REALLY have a problem/

I haven't had any luck with drugs except Depakote, it's my personality though. I get rancid side effects.
I would be leading a much different life had I not been diagnosed with Bipolar, I'll tell you that. I guess you can say knowing I have Bipolar is the best drug I could be on
Hey, what works works! And I'm glad you're leading a healthy life -- these things need to be told!
Thanks for sharing my friend
