There is a woman who is trying to get off of meds and having a rough time with the one you are talking about. She has a good site with lots of information. She shares her suffering almost every day. I suggest you visit her site and contact her. She may be a bit ahead of you in getting off the med, so she might have some things to say to help you.

I'm really surprised that your doctor did not yell you that medications like that is often addictive. Any medications like Klonopin, Ativan, Xanax ect does become addicting to people that is why they say as needed and should be watched closely by your doctor ... and they should only give you a limited supply, did you tell them that you were abusing this ?
Have you had a addictive behavior before taking it?
