Negative habits

Postby cedrilk » Tue Jan 16, 2024 10:03 am

Why do I prefer to lose the whole of something rather than just part of it? For example, if I'm half an hour late for bed because of work, I start zapping and losing several hours under the pretext that I've already lost time.

All-or-nothing behavior? Do you suffer from anxiety? Have you ever been diagnosed with anything?

What's zapping?

Googled it and found a cable streaming app that streams live television. I think the OP might mean watching TV.

Does this happen in other areas of your life, or just when it comes to trying to sleep / going to bed?
If it's just a sleep issue, it might be that your mind is too active at that time? Things like guided meditation might help.
