Over a decade or so, i have been facing issues with social support. It seems like most of the times, i don't want to be in touch with people, and some times the ones from whom i seek advice or support tend to ignore me in a toxic way.
Friends don't take up my call. And, sometimes they ignore me in many things. All i lack is faking skills which keep friendships intact. But, i take up their calls, or even call them back when i miss their calls. Sometimes, it feels like me being a jobless, academically poor and pennyless guy makes them do that. What would it be? What am i lacking that from past 15 years i have issues with mental health?
Is it true that all of us regardless of our downhill or uphill lives are having a mental health issue?

Do you have a friend you trust and who would have the courage to speak honestly about what they thought of you? Could you take such a conversation? I had a friend who did this recently. These kinds of conversations can be rough.
You seem to be conflicted about what you want from social life. Do you know? Are your feelings about it consistent?

Thanks. Sometimes, i have heard from friends that not everyone would like my attitude. The reason being that i don't fake a lot. Also, it seem to them that i am more intelligent than them or i think like that. That keeps me away for them.
The same friend who said this had kept me away for few years.
