Good idea Beatachica. I have a weight problem which started when I had severe post natal depression. Wish I'd done something about it then.

Good luck with it. I'm sure you'll find the support you need on here when things get tough.

I used to be amazing in sports. 99th percentile for sure.
After I took some medication when I was 8, that all flew away, and I became "obese" I am now above average physically, but still overweight, however my muscles are quickly regaining their strength, and my fat is quickly draining away.
Hi, I'm Daniel.
I am thirteen years old.
I have aspergers (possibly not whole), tics, tourettes, OCD, and maybe ADHD. Also, a tragic childhood that makes so-called tragic movies seem very happy.
I love affectionism.

Seasons Change, I was on Prozac and Temazepam when I started to pile on the weight. I don't think it was the drugs though, it was more likely my state of mind.

When I first started taking them I went through a few of the less common side effects, like vomiting and (at one point) seeing dots. One of the more common side effects is either heightened appitite or lack of appitite. But for that to show an effect would take longer. So it's possible, actually likely, that the prozac made you gain weight. A few people have mentioned to me that I've gained weight over the past few weeks. I smiled but I didn't really like them saying it.

I think the side effects were harder to notice because I was taking Temazepam at the same time. I felt as though I'd been hit round the head with a sledgehammer and could hardly function at all.

I haven't been on any medication for a long time now though, years in fact, so I don't really have an excuse any more.

I need to add about ten punds to reach normal weight. What effect do these meds have aside from adding weight? :^)

Well, lately my dream has been a series of unrelated events, like flipping through hundreds of tv channels. Good riddance! :^)

Too bad I won't be allowed to buy it. I just checked a with a bmi calculator.. I need 30 pounds to reach my ideal weight.

I'm 176 cm, 55 kg. Slim.

I look like those starving kids in africa without the big belly. :^)

The thing I have a little complex over is my arms, they are so thin that I can't wear a normal wristwatch. The thing I should do is going to the gym, but it's sooo boring. And I've told everyone that I won't go, so now I can't retract that statement out of pride. They would have smug thoughts if i went.

Anyway, here i am in all my glory:

It's not that big an issue for me. It's just that it would be nice to be able to wear clothes and accessories without looking as a coat hanger.
I have to go to the children's department to buy trousers that don't slip off or fold when I use a belt. I shouldn't bother that my jeans are labeled KLAXX in big bright different colored letters, but every time I see it I feel a bit annoyed. :^j
I would like to be able to wear a wristwatch without it slipping up half my arm.

But as I said somewhere else here, I don't think that I look bad. And the things that I don't like very much can be rectified without surgery.

I was at the dentist yesterday, and to my surprise they found no holes where I felt there were at least six. They did fill in the crevice in my front tooth though.. I wish they could have done something about a few other irregularities that contribute to bad breath because I can't reach them when I brush. But it was no go.

Hey.. if you think I look fine and you think I look fine, perhaps we could... ;^)
