I'm not anti-psyche but I think it helps to research all health problems to better understand and discuss them with a professional or friend, and to help ourselves. Some problems have to do with our thinking. Consider the area of attitude and in particular worry, and the suggestion by Shantideva
"If you can solve your problem, then what is the need of worrying? If you cannot solve it, then what is the use of worrying?"
There are lots of self-help ideas and a browse through the 100s' of books in the self-help, self-improvement section of the library or bookstore shows how popular this topic is.

Yes, this saying is a lot like what I try to live by.
Change the things you can, accept what you can't. God grant me the wisdom to know the difference.
Most of my problems are caused by me tying to change something that is impossible. It is better to put effort toward something we have hope of changing.
