What's driving you crazy today? - (Venting thread)

Forget about mental illness for a while and just let loose in here.

I unexpectedly met a couple of psychologists recently who combine therapeuthical and theatrical methods. For a while I was wondering whether the people in my life thought I was in need in a professional psychological help so they gave me a gentle push in that direction lol. I spent the last couple of months with the artistic company that was very business- and result- and audience-reaction oriented, I don't think that's the direction for me, seemed too rough and I was struggling, but I can't really imagine myself in a theoretically or scientifically oriented approach to art etc, those people are very abstract. Whenever I think of the idea of an artist (in any field), I imagine a person who does not comform to social conventions (but does it in a socially acceptable way though) and who is primarily driven by some inner drives that I've never fully explored and I don't think that approach is for me either. I don't think I am that interesting in a raw artistic sense, but I am definitely not the type of a person who wants to be surrounded solely by books my whole life. There seem to be more of these social groups that I can't relate to, than the ones I can.

I had a weird day, these days I can't tell if it's me or the atmosphere/situation in general. I try not to be late and not to say anything stupid, dunno if that's enough. I want to be the type of a person dedicated to what I do who doesn't mind the outside world as much, don't know how much I'm succeeding at it.

And I read somewhere that starting my sentences with "I" means I am self-centered, but I feel like being self-centered is polite in a way.

No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it's not the same river and he's not the same man.

There is more than one way to walk the night (or something like this)

Don't really know whether these are absolutely true, could be or not.

I was about to ask the moderator on another forum to delete my profile but I don't think I can do it really, I'll just deactivate the internet and do more reading.

The other forum was the place where I go to write things I don't care what people will think about, and now it's the other way around, I come here to write what I don't want anyone to know. Doesn't sound good. :) Definitely less internet and feeling grateful for Psychforums in times of mental instability.

I believe the 'you can never step in the same river twice' adage is in reference to the fact that life is constantly in change. It will technically be the same river by name, but it's completely different water that you're touching.
In a way people are like this too, as in you aren't the person who you were 10 years ago, and 10 years from now you won't be you either. So 'you' only exist in the moment too, just like the river.
