''Once upon a time in America''

When the kid eats ALL the cake , he brought with him as a gift for an older girl he hoped would make out with him. He was all spruced up ( it was set in NY in the 50's). He sat outside her apartment in hopeful anticipation with gift in hand. Cake would have been a real treat during the depression and poverty stricken times. It took a while for him to entertain the thought of having some while he waited and waited ......then he took a nibble....then hungrily finished it, as well as his chance of getting screwed.

It was Sooo well done. Stands out in my memory - very touching. In fact many scenes from that movie stand out.

^It's the only scene I remember from that movie.
