You ever see Father Goose? It's an oldie w/Cary Grant & Leslie Caron. Light, comical w/a little old fashioned romance. Might be a little hard to find..

I loved Father Goose! :D
That was the one where Cary Grant played a drunken beach-comber on coast watch for Japanese ships during W.W.2 who has to rescue a very prim teacher and a load of posh kids.

They just don't make them like that anymore!

My fave feel-good film is Strictly Ballroom  .
I know it's a cheesy romance but it always makes me smile :D .

Benny and Joon.
One of the few positive movies about mental illness.

I've got to agree with you.
I loved Dogma but anything with Jay and Silent Bob in it would work for me.
You should watch Mallrats too.
