Are You a Path-Hugger?

Forget about mental illness for a while and just let loose in here.

Check this out.
Thanks to CrackersnCheese for showing it to me.

The first thing I remember thinking of it was, "It looks like natural morality is hugging artificial morality! So adorable!" Image It looks somewhat more disturbing up close, though.

Some of the sites that host it say the characters are an angel and a demon, but I don't know what the artist (Luis Royo) thinks about that. The series (*possibly triggering images in linked site*) is called III Millennium, so I would assume it's supposed to be a futuristic science fiction motif of modification of the human body (in this case, cybernetic for the male character in front and perhaps genetic for the female) to confer superhuman attributes or abilities. But only the artist truly knows.

By the way, it's still John Montagu's birthday in my time zone. Have you had a sandwich today? In honor of Hug a Psychopath Week, may I recommend this one?

That depends on how much unfinished business I have ahead of me. :(

Afraid of being squeezed out?

Does anyone else think it's kind of weird that Stix and I both picked dates that coincided with Japanese children's festivals? As far as battle remembrance days, well,.... I hope I didn't spoil the mood for anyone. :\

X- and O-shaped foods are sometimes given to symbolize hugs and kisses, because of the custom of signing letters with X's and O's. If the O's stand for hugs, then I suppose the ring dougnuts and bagels (etc.) are the hugs,...or maybe I'm just looking for an excuse to post more kitty donuts. Image

As if it weren't enough that America Recycles to Clean Out the Fridge of Spicy Hermits (If that's not a good enough reason to hug a psychopath, I don't want to live in this country anymore!) on November 15 every year, here's another one I missed: Bundt Cake Day! (It seems quite appropriate in light of my previous post.*) How in Love's name could I have let that go unnoticed!

If only I'd waited a day later, I could've had the greatest member anniversary ever...instead of one of the most boring ones. :( But it was the 15th in New Zealand when I registered, so that's worth something, right?...Right? Image

*I just noticed I typed "dougnuts." I'm not sure if that's a dirty Freudian slip or just a bit of Elder Scrolls geekiness showing. Image

Aaaww. :( That's good advice for path-huggers, though—"Don't lie to yourself," I mean.
