Nice to see this thread still going.

Well, that might explain Tempest and Demon.

Tempest80 wrote:Wows! Must be hella noisy there with all those cats in season! They just can scream up a storm during their seasons.
Yes, like they did last night.
Tempest80 wrote:Lucky for me, strawberries just came in season here... yum... I've been enjoying a lot of fresh strawberries daily.
I've wanted to adopt Strawberry Cat as a symbol for psychopathy/sociopathy for a while (the link explained why).

Hey, is anyone in the Southern Hemisphere harvesting tomatoes or peppers right now? If I can find one of those that's shaped like a cat, that would be even better.

Here, let me help you out with that. ;)

I suppose it's a little late for this (though it's May 5 in my time zone),* but I may have found an eerily appropriate party theme.

The playlist could include songs like "Poison" (you could have a more upbeat version, or this one if you want to go formal ;)) and "Toxic Love." (What? Were you expecting Insane Clown Posse or something?) Wait—did he say "slice a path"? Okay, maybe that's not appropriate for Hug a Psychopath Week.

When I looked for a snake theme, I only found these:

Strawberry shortsnake, anyone? Tempest? A search for "snake and ice cream" didn't yield anything that would be appropriate for this forum. :( Oh, but look at this little guy!

Remind you of anyone you know?

*I didn't even drop by to say Happy Children's Day to Japan. ): I hope all the pathlings got hugs! >D (Unless they didn't want to be touched.):

Twinkling Butterfly, have you met any psychopaths in real life that you know of?
“It is not to be thought that the life of darkness is sunk in misery and lost as if in sorrowing. There is no sorrowing. For sorrow is a thing that is swallowed up in death, and death and dying are the very life of the darkness.”

Don't be silly, I am Demon :P

I would be seriously taking matters into my own hands at that point

Hmmm we'll vote on it at our next meeting :P

Twinkling_Butterfly wrote:Strawberry shortsnake, anyone? Tempest?

Sure, but only if I can place it on something more exciting... in which I can eat it off of :P

I like the poison party theme, I'm going to have to use that in the near future.

Image Well, that was fun, wasn't it? But just because Hug a Psychopath Week is over, that doesn't mean you should stop showing love to the 'paths in your life. Image

Little Boy Lost wrote:Twinkling Butterfly, have you met any psychopaths in real life that you know of?

I've met a few people I suspect may be psychopaths,...but none close enough to me to touch, if that's what you mean.

Tempest80 wrote:Don't be silly, I am Demon :P

Does that mean you don't like hugs? :(

By the way, a couple of interesting tidbits I forgot to mention: I searched for "snake and ice cream" (not "cake and ice cream") because when I saw a picture of a candy snake next to a picture of an ice cream cone, the first property I thought of that was shared between a snake and ice cream was their coldness. Also, if I'd read "Have you hugged a psychopath today?" before I chose May 5 for Hug a Psychopath Week, I might have instead chosen August 20, Lovecraft's birthday. That would have been weird. Image

No silly! It means I LOVE hugs... which means Demon really does too :P She likes BIG BIG BIG tight hugs and Tea Parties with pink tutus... but shhhh, don't tell her I told you, k?

 That make me envision you walking up to some random Psychopath and touching them. What kind of reaction do you think you'd get?

If he would turn out to be the impulsive type, I can think of two possible reactions, neither of which I'd want.

Oh, here's something else I missed last week.
I wrote:The juxtaposition of the bitter experience of war and the innocence of childhood

I don't suppose this young man has had much experience, but the petite predator makes the picture perfect. (:

I found out what a "sweetie-path" is. It's a...well, a path made out of sweets. (Didn't see that coming, did you?) It's like this:

The walkway, not the door.

Did you guys know about this use of the term "path-hugger"?
Arbor Projects

    • Kit arbors
    Path hugger :!:
    • A spacious archway
    • Garden portal
    • An elegant arbor nook
    ...

Source: Sunset Books, Trellises & Arbors.

I'm still not quite sure what it is, but I think I want one. My vines would probably love it.

Oh, and another May 5 tradition I missed was this. Not sure how I forgot; I've read Cake Wrecks for years.
