Cornwell's thesis, namely, that Walter Sickert was Jack the Ripper, IMO, lacks credible evidence. Her claim that mitochondrial dna was found on Sickerts letters and also Jack the Ripper letters, is weak. DNA over a hundred years old. Also all these documents have been handled by numerous ppl over the years allowing for cross contamination.
But most striking is the fact that almost all Ripper letters are considered hoaxes. Not the Ripper.
