As today is Holocaust Memorial Day, I thought I'd put something out here.
I had a lecture today about WWII in Europe as part of my course and the Holocaust came up, if briefly. At the end, one of the students gave a mini-presentation, mentioning the Holocaust Memorial Day Pledge.
The Pledge itself is in line with some of the University's standards and ethics. Reading it over though, I realised that it also connects with this place as well. After all, many people here have had their lives changed, broken, even destroyed in some cases. Although the causes are different, the outcome, in some respects, are the same and the message carries on; Don't suffer in silence against injustice. Speak up and speak out.

I hope this helps
