Forget about mental illness for a while and just let loose in here.

gbk, I think the band that Chucky has heard of might be Megadeth, not sure. Well, if anyone is upset by your av, they can PM me or you and let us know, I guess.

Just Megadeth. I live in Ireland and they're the only one (as far as I know) that have made it relatively big here.

I listen to all sorts of music, as a musician I'm often asked to play songs I've never heard of, and recently listen to everything.

I used to be really into rock, but was always far too picky about what I listened to, I'd only ever buy CDs that I knew were by the best and most talented people (Zakk Wylde and Hendrix to mention some guitarists)

I listen to all genres of music, because true talent goes above genre.

My top 10 artists/bands:

Oasis
Corinne Bailey Rae
Jimi Hendrix
Zakk Wylde (but not as a singer)
Amy Winehouse
Mariah Carey
Chris Cornell
RHCP
U2

Okay that was 9, but if I was gonna post 10, my name would be on there.

Oh, but one last thing:

Courtney Love > Kurt Cobain

I don't understand why people like The Rolling Stones. They have no good songs in my opinion and their music is just bland / dull / regular.

I listen to almost entirely instrumental rock/shred(virtuoso guitarist basically, although there is more to it) and classical.
Some of my favorite artists(genre):
Buckethead(rock, avante-gard, shred)
Steve Vai(rock, avante-gard, shred) For the Love of God!
Joe Satriani(rock, shred)
Rusty Cooley(shred, metal)
Guthrie Govan(shred, jazz)<Have heard a dreadfully small amount of his work but its all at least good>
Shawn Lane(shred, jazz)<See above>
Cream/Derek and the Dominoes(blues-rock stuff)
I like lots of jazz/classical as well but I don't know many composers.
