Anyone Speak A Foreign Language?

My native tongue is Dutch. So my foreign language is English.

I used too be able to speak German because as a kid I loved watching German cartoon TV. I just loved how it sounded. But that faded when they stopped broadcasting.

Languages I want to learn are: Russian, Portugues, Ukrainian, Japanese, Latvian and Finnish

Russian would be my native tongue if it weren't for my mother who didn't bother to learn me... Wich is a real shame, it's such a beautiful and powerful language!

It really is So far I can read Cyrillic, as well as understand a lot of written and spoken Russian; I just can't quite form sentences of my own

i can speak English and French perfectly. I can also understand german and spanish

As a matter of fact, my native language is Turkish.
But I love learning languages, being able to be communicating with others in other languages, and learning different point of views from others' by picking up new languages.

Additionally, learning or practicing new language is really beneficial for your brain as well as it's intellectually stimulating and funny.
