Rebel WIthout a Cause

Who all has seen Rebel Without a Cause, and what was your opinion of it?

I myself loved the movie!! It was really sad though. It really makes me sad when Jim (James Dean) screams "your tearing me apart". Gah. I'm about to get chills just thinking about it.

I first saw "Rebel Without a Cause" years ago. I can't say that I enjoyed it as I'm not really a fan of James Dean.
I think that it was significant in that it was probably the first real teen-angst movie and it started a whole new genre. I think that it has been bettered since though.
In the 80's there was a trend for making teen-angst movies, most were not that great but some like "The Breakfast Club" and "Pump Up the Volume" have stood the test of time. A lot of them avoided "issues" but were still good fun with films like "Weird Science" and "Pretty in Pink" as favourites of mine.

Quite melodramatic, sign of it's time though. I liked it.

..Yes I have seen it...but I don't remember it,thats how much I liked the movie. You should see "Rounders" it stars Matt Damon,John malkovich and Edward Norton...Yes you are probably thinking Matt Damon is another "pretty Boy"...But this movie changed my attitude towards him...hahahaha....Alot of memorable scenes and lines, like "scarface".

Gee,James Dean if he were alive should see what the rebellious crowd have evolved into...heres a clue=
