What's the Geekiest Thing about You?

Probably my un-healthy interest in true crime and psychology. I find it weird that I am into psychology because I am mentally ill myself and have had so many psychologist and therapists and what not, and have been in a psych ward 3 times.

You guys make me feel like a failed geek. The longest time I spent playing a videogame was around 24 hours, I think, and the longest I spent writing code was only six (not counting a bathroom break).

-I wake up and enjoy information television for a few hours before my day begins then think about the facts I've learned throughout the day (did you know three toed sloths only go to the bathroom once a week and that kangaroos can survive and produce milk without having any water for 10 days <--most recent facts)

-I read books like The Road to Reality : A Complete Guide to the Laws of the Universe and Chaos: Making a New Science

-When I was 10 I read every textbook on Ancient Egypt in the library and made sure to be sitting in front of the history channel when anything about ancient Egypt was on

-Recently I have been relating all of my ideas back to General Systems theory

-I taught myself the piano and the treble clef (sheet music) when I was 8

-I enjoy mmorpgs

I cant sleep if my kitchen is dirty. I hate waking up to a kitchen with a dirty sink with dishes in it. Throws my day off completely!

I'm obsessed with the Lord of the Rings trilogy (though I have yet to read the books), and I immediately become in love with every new superhero I see in a movie. lol. But I'm still not a fraction of the geek that my fiance is, so I'm good

About half of my fiance's wardrobe consists of superhero shirts, and his whole bookshelf is nothing but star wars books.... our room is full of his star wars figurines and posters, lol. And now he's getting me hooked on it. I resisted as long as I could.

My son hums the Star Wars theme to go to sleep. I dont quite get it but I like to hear him happy!
