I was checking and deleting pics from my camera and found one of Ozzy. Just thought I'd share it so you can see him. He's almost back to looking like that again. His fur is growing back quiickly. Anyway, so many people were concerned about him and I thought you'd like to meet him.

Yay for Ozzy! He has very cute white socks. :)
No diagnosis, lots of opinions, and a bunch of issues that I haven't quite figured out.

Aw, Ozzy's adorable. I'm so happy to read that he's going to be okay and that you're okay and things are getting back to normal. It actually made me tear up a little reading about what they did to him. If someone did that to my cats, I would have to hunt them down and beat them to death. Ozzy is very lucky to have an owner who loves him so much.

Some cultures still thrive on the old adage of "An eye for an eye" and it pretty much means what you do to me or my things I will do to you or your things....

Iwoya, I'm very glad that both you and Ozzy are doing better. I really am sorry that you two had to go through all of this; it's entirely unfair to both of you. I just hope things get back to normal for ya's soon.

I've never been good with the whole "proportional response" thing. For me, it was always "violence is not the answer. However, if necessary, beat your opponent so badly that you need not fear retribution." You don't mess with family, and pets are as much a part of family as any human. I would guarantee that there would be no fear of retribution from them.

I understand the "eye for an eye" thinking and when this happened I wanted them dead.

I ended up in the hospital after the break in, because I know my strengths and my weaknesses. One of my major weaknesses is impulse control. I was worried I was going to do something I'd regret and I sought help with this.

I can live with them making me a victim because there is no shame in that. I didn't want them to make me a violent man. There's no honour there.

That being said, I did retaliate. I came upon a car the two brothers drove. A 2010 Lancer Evolution, pimped out to the max.

I dug out my keys and.............. I couldn't be that guy. I was happy that I couldn't do it. Key their car, I mean. Then I noticed something. The door was unlocked. A thought occured to me and I knew I could be that guy.

I could see my apartment from where I was, so I returned there. I had, the day before, put a bag of used cat litter in the trash. I jumped into the dumpster and dug around until I found that bag. I then went to my apartment and got some rubber gloves and a spray bottle of water. As I walked back I crushed the dried poops, I felt in the bag, into small pieces

I figured if the car was gone Karma was saying "Don't do it". But it was still there so I emptied that litter all over those cloth seats as quickly as I could (I figured they left it unlocked because they weren't going to be long). I poured it down the vents on the dash. And ground it into everything I could. Then I sprayed the water all over. I emptied the bottle.

Then I closed it up (locking the door). And left that stink heat up in the hot sun and permeate everything.

This is where I should say I'm not proud of this but the truth is I Am Very Proud. Nothing was permanently damaged. And this method let Ozzy contribute to the revenge. I guess I made him an accomplice.

I wish I was a better man than that, but I'm not.
