Hi guys. Iwoya is having a real hard time right now. He is in the hospital. His place was broken into when he was away, and his cat was hurt very badly. I know he may be able to stop by and read a bit now and then, so I thought I would give you all a chance to send him some support.
He is feeling very low and alone. I knew you would all want to know.

I am so grateful for all the support and caring. Ozzy is going to live. The spinal injuries have resulted in some motor dysfunction. One leg doesn't work well and he's lost all movement in his tail. The cut on his side was the real danger. He lost a lot of blood. Police say the perps swung him by the tail and smashed him into my glass stereo cabinet, This cut him deep (my cabinet locks so they had already broke the glass to get at my stereo). They then kicked him around my apartment until he went unconcious near the wall by the bathroom (pooled blood there). Police found him in the bathroom. He crawled into the shower to hide behind the shower curtain. There will be adjustments but my little buddy is still here and I'm very grateful for the work the vets did on him.

I had labelled my possessions with my name and address using an ultraviolet pen. This is what helped catch these maggots. I say this so others may use this method to protect their belongings. It works!!

Now, I just want to point out. This is a great place! I'm sure many of you also feel this. The support and kind words I've received both on this thread and in PMs leaves me feeling lucky to be a part of this fine family.

Iwoya, I can only hope they get what they deserve in prison and from life.

You and your cat are past the worst stage, that's what really matters. Things will only get better from now on, you'll take care of each other.
