Damn. She didn't even have to turn around for me to know she was pretty. But I'm glad she did.

I think a life devoted exclusively or primarily to one's self/individual prosperity is a waste of a life, and no one can be whole that way.

Maybe I'll change my mind when people who want such lives stop sh*tting on the lives and relationships that I and many others need/desire, and achieve our greatest potential through.

In the meantime, since you don't think both ways of living and loving are acceptable and healthy, neither do I. I'm not gonna have compassion, respect, or even tolerance for people who violate my values and deny who I am/what's best for me.

I know that we never had to prove it for anyone except ourselves, but I didn't know that proving bigots wrong that two people of the same sex can raise a family together with or without their approval made me a shallow intolerant bully.

this could be true, but why should the fish judge itself based on your values, ideas, morals?

it might be you that is stupid for believing that the fish has a mind in the same way as you do and thus is capable of your values, ideas and morals, also not forgetting knowing how to even climb and what a tree might be.
