No. Do you?
I missed this somehow.
I won't get into anything spiritual based ideas of why it happens because it's usually not well recieved.
• I thought it may be trolling / gaslighting in some circumstances, but it's not worth thinking about because the damage is usually caused by playing into it and wondering if you're insane not in the actual acts.
• Also, someone suggested that often people have the same things going on just from different angles etc. so it's not so much coincidence but the likelihood of being around (or drawn to the same spots as) others thinking about the similarly related issues / topics as you
• I know I also get these false "deja vu" experiences that makes me feel like I've experienced the same thing before and it means I'm on the path to the false "premonitions" of what's coming that usually follow the false "deja vu"
The "deja vu" always has the same feeling and the "premonitions" usually have the same key themes.
It used to be a lead up to predicting things like me going permantly insane in a lock up room, rocking back and forth in the corner, or of me being murdered and occasionally was accompanied by a voice in or near my head saying things like "beware of the man in the black leather jacket" or predicting when it would happen
--- and very rarely to flashes of things like a man standing over me with a knife (and I'm sitting on a bed I think) and it's just before he murders me and I'm looking up at him thinking how much sense it made that it was him everything was refering to and being relatively accepting of it.
It seemed random and the "deja vu" seemed coincidential or like I was on the verge of losing my mind.
Now I know that it's not coincidence, but rather trauma triggers that I can't recognize. My therapist said it's also possibly a way I unconsciously prevent / distract from / react to the potential of repressed memories (that get triggered) surfacing.
I found it to also mean I'm too stressed and that I need to start self-soothing, focusing on getting proper sleep, etc if it starts happening.
It's still scary and I shut down and leave my body, but it's not nearly as bad as when it first started happening - primarily because of doing reality testing and knowing it's a c/ptsd trigger.
- and it's very rare now, thankfully.
• With coincidences, I also thought if it's something that creates a distressing (or strong) emotion I might become hypervigilant to the coincidences related to it.
• Then there was a recent thing where the ######6 centaur! After the topic came up and my meme I saw like 4 more by chance within a couple of days - including a friend sending me nerdy meme of one so it can't just be some weird algorithm.
It makes absolutely no sense at all because that is absolutely not a common thing to see - ever.
Since some of the subject matter I just covered is kind of heavy, I'm going to push the last post forwards again

I mean I know I have to eat them so I eat them first so that I can enjoy the rest of my meal in peace.
