Yeah, I'm for Edinburgh myself. Been once and I loved it, plus it was a rare sunny day.

I feel guilty about sayign this but I have much fonder memories of Edinburgh than I do Glasgow. All I recall from Glasgow is a 'regular' city with no real landmarks. In Edinburgh, however, the castle and park at the foot of it's cliff standout, as does the zoo, Prince's Street, and the old-style housing just outside the city center. While saying this, I didn't have much time in Glasgow.

Yeah I find that to, there are few nice places in Glasgow. But you have to look for them! It's not the most attractive city! The zoo is good I've not been in ages!

Did you go into the castle? My dad was in the army and he guarded it once when the queen was there.

Yep - We went into the castle, but it was all a long time ago and I don't remember much. I'm liking the way that the SNP are promoting Scottish nationalism... Currently, my home country (Irish Republic) is the only nation to gain independence from the UK
