Love is like calciferol. The vulnerability needed to produce it can be scary, but living without it or depending on others for it can be even scarier. Also, I think it's possible for love to be toxic in great amounts, but I'm not sure. At least some of the things needed to produce it can be toxic, though—I'm sure of that—and the same is true for calciferol.
