What Did You Dream About Last Night?

Last night I had a dream I was standing in line at the doctors office; it was very crowded and I was the last person in line. Suddenly the receptionist called my name, and as I walked up to her desk I noticed that everyone was glaring at me.
The receptionist informed me that the police wanted me for questioning, that they were waiting in the other room.
Turns out I was the main suspect in a grisly string of murders.

haha that's awesome, i love dreams when they are just so unrealistic.

i had a dream i was sleeping with Lee Pace. (he's in a movie called The Fall - now i am in love with him ).

Also, i got onto a train and it started flying. which was apparently normal. was quite a big comfy seat i was sitting in too.

I had a really strange, involved action-movie type dream. I was in some sort of trouble and there were very large buildings, and I was being taken to one of them. I think I was in trouble with two groups of people because there was some sort of homing device on me and somehow I managed to be taken to a building that one of the groups owned and the other group came to get me there and I was able to kind of make my way out, I think. But then I think I had the dream again and they were on to me, or something. Or maybe in the dream I felt that I'd already done it, or that I'd seen it in a movie, and I actually messed it up.

Does anybody else dream a lot? I feel like it probably has some relationship to my sense of isolation. I talked about dreams a bit with a therapist at one point... anybody else?

Last night was really crappy. I had a really bad dream last night. I dreamt that my parents go back together and got me to go back to this piano conservatory. I had to perform in a recital last minute and I felt this HUGE wave of fear and anxiety come over me because I haven't been playing for a while. I ended up doing fine but I couldn't shake the feeling so I left to calm down in the bathroom. I locked the door and started purging, except in the middle of it the whole school came into the bathroom. And this girl, I don't know her in real life, said to me "at least I don't have my finger down my throat". And then for some reason the whole world was in that bathroom and I couldn't stop purging. Then I woke up. I couldn't go back to sleep until 4 am and had a dr's appointment that I had to wake up at 8 for. It completely freaked me out for the whole day. I don't even purge, which is the freakiest thing of all.

I've been in love with Lee Pace since I saw him in Soldiers Girl. Brilliant performance, and then of course he was in Pushing Daises.
Have probably seen The Fall five times so far; it never gets old.

Dreams are fascinating; i almost took a course on the subject at my college this quarter.
And I agree, our mental states have a profound affect on our dreams. When I was severely depressed I rarely remembered them...whatever I could recall were just brief snippets.
Suppose I should have been relieved as my dreams ate 99% nightmares.

The Fall was an incredibly good movie. I first realized I was depressed watching that movie. I was in kind of an altered state due to some substances and when the main guy (I guess that's Lee Pace?) started crying at the end telling the end of the story I just started crying and crying and feeling horrible about how bad I'd let my mental state get and how I was letting everyone down. Anyway, but of course besides that it's just beautiful visually, beautiful story, interestingly self-referential without being complex or kitschy, etc. One of my very favorite movies.

Last night I dreamt a good deal but I think the crux of it ended up being that I was ambassador to Argentina or an assistant to that ambassador. A war started and a bunch of knight-looking fellows parachuted in. But the stuff that felt important psychologically I can't quite remember, something about eating a meal at home and then trying to move some bookcases and then driving around an Argentine hillside.

The Fall is one of my go to comfort films, which I suppose is odd given the subject matter.
I just love the idea of healing through the power of story telling, the power of the imagination.
Then there's the achingly beautiful music, the sumptuous visuals. It's a therapeutic experience.
The end had me in tears, too.

Yes, Pace plays Roy/The Black Bandit... He was fantastic, but I think the star of the show was the little girl. Cutest child actor I've ever seen.

Last night I dreamt someone was breaking into my house. Most of my dreams are scary, probably a result of all the horror films I watch.

Dreamed I was solving a Rubik's cube.

Funny thing is, I know how to solve them and I was actually doing a real solution in my dream... so I didn't just dream I solved it, I actually solved it in my dream.

That's much better than most of my dreams.

Hardly slept last night. Bad bad bad and weird dreams.

Paper, why haven't you been sleeping well, do you think?
I've been going to sleep well past midnight lately. Right as I'm going to bed I suddenly remember all these important things I need to do, like check my library account or find out how many calories are in a Dairy Queen blizzard.
