Not really off topic and not really just for fun but looking at all the other forum names it really doesn't fit under any of them.
The human brain is divided into hemispheres, the left tends to be stronger in males than in females and right stronger in females than in males.
What if a brain was exposed to a large amount of androgens and estrogen in the womb? Then we'd expect to see a great deal of growth and masculinization of the left hemisphere and growth and feminization of the right hemisphere, since the left responds more to androgens and the right to estrogens.
Logically, this could cause all kinds of problems. The person would have a very difficult time integrating their personality since the preferences of the two hemispheres would be in great conflict. The person would be more likely to be codominant since both hemispheres would be too strong to just "give in" to the other hemisphere entirely. At a low level this might not be pathological, but at an exaggerated enough level you can expect it would meet the criteria of a pathology.
What existing disorders are there that might match the kind of symptoms we would see in someone with this type of brain?
