Easily the best performance of this work. The collection of Beethoven's nine symphonies with Krips and the London Symphony Orchestra are among the best records of Beethoven's symphonies.

Joan Sutherland is among the best opera singer to ever live, but "death-defying" seems a little over the top to me.
