5) I once went from Toronto to Los Angeles to Oakland to Vancouver and back to Toronto all using the Greyhound Bus.
How long did that take? My geography knowledge of the US and Canada is vague. Toronto is over by the great lakes, LA is obviously down near the Mexico border, Vancouer is west-coast Canada(?), and Oakland is...?

Los Angeles, California is on the southwest coast of the USA. Oakland, California is about a few hundred miles north of Los Angeles right next to San Francisco. Vancouver, British Columbia is correct.
Let's see it took me 2 and a half days to reach Los Angeles (Could only stay for 5 hours). Maybe six hours to reach Oakland. I stayed there for 2 nights and 2 days. Left San Francisco on the 3rd day (15 minute subway ride from Oakland) and spent that evening trapped at a greyhound station in Redford, CA (long story there). Finally reached Canada the following evening. Spent the next day travelling and arriving to Calgary. Another day to reach Winnipeg. And another to arrive home just in time for an impromptu Transit strike. Do the math.
Amazing isn't it?
