The Lion King had that sort of effect on me during a specific part. I've got a feeling there were one or two other disney movies I watched when younger that did too though unfortunately can't remember which one's those were at present!

I know that some classic movies have a tear response too... I have seen Casablanca cause a few tears in guys.
The bright light at the end of a dark tunnel could be an oncoming train, but it could also be the way out of the darkness...
