For better or worse.

Those words I said on that blessed day;

the connotation of them just will not decay;

Traveled so far trudged a long long road;

finally found the one I wished to hold.

Afforded my heart to have and defend;

together with you I'd stay till the end.

A German am I so rigid and set in stone;

to you I give my blood my flesh my bone.

Hills and valleys we each dare to cross;

toilsome days and nights we turn and toss.

Live every day as a new challenge and chance;

You and I as one we make music through our dance.

On my own power or per your desire;

tomorrow I'll still be here with you through the fire.

That vow uttered at that hour;

my love on you I will continue to shower.
