This is crazy... I'm high off the flu??

Ok, so this post isn't really meant to be fun or silly. I just don't know where else to stick it...

I have the flu right now. However, this is the first flu in my life when it's making me feel high. I'm not even experiencing pain. In my head I know that my body is under attack... raised temperature, sinus congestion, blurry eyesight, constricted throat, and a ghostly sensation throughout all my joints that there should be pain in them, but it's not there for some reason. Plus, a sense that my throat should also be in excruciating pain, with inability to swallow... the same as every flu I get every year.

This year?

I feel high. All the symptoms, with no pain, and a feeling I can compare closest to a very mild opium high.

In fact, I like it. Food tastes better. Smells are more distinct, even though my sinuses are stuffed to capacity(!). Plus it feels like there's a fuzz of soft energy all around me... very comfortable. I really really like it.

I feel very weird that being sick is making me feel better?!!?!?!??!??!?!?!!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

It's not that weird. I feel happy sometimes when I'm sick. For some reason, it makes me care less about everything else, I think. It can be very comforting at times.

What kind of flu is that....I want one of that.

No... I didn't take any drugs for it. I don't know what it is. It's slightly euphoric though.

I hope it's not H1N1....

How long have you been sick with it ?

Just 2 days. I don't feel any pain though, so it's hard to tell how much longer it will hang on.

nah I don't think it'll get to that point..
I think the drug company's caused it actually, to get more money...
But who knows, I doubt it's the end of time, but it's a problem for now.

Gotta likely go get the vaccine cause i'm pregnant though i'd rather not have to take it.
We'll see what the doc says.

I would research set "Vaccine" before getting it just because you're told too.
