The song that is in my mind today and that is one of my favourite is "Angel" by Aerosmith.

Soy un perdedor
Im a loser baby, so why dont you kill me?

That Beck song is an all time classic. I think Adam Sandler copied it more than a little a couple of years later with his Somebody kill me song

Oh somebody kill me please,
Somebody kill me plee-ase,
I'm on my knees,
Pretty pretty please kill me.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.

This Beck song:

It is fantastic, and in the video there's a coffin moving around a field on its own (a solas).

my all time fav song is 'this womans work' by kate bush. sooo sad.

i also love tori amos, patti smith, muse, placebo, tool, well the list goes on and on. at the moment i am really into the decemberists latest album 'Hazards of Love'. All about child abuse and repeating cycles. a concept album. very sad but very very powerful.

Wow, thanks for that. I knew the song but never knew that it was she who sang it; nor did I know it's title.

The greatest rock 'n' roll song to me is Blue Oyster Cult's ME 262.

They hung there dependant from the sky
Like some heavy metal fruit
These bombers are ripe and ready to tilt
Must these Englishmen live that I might die
Must they live that I might die
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
