It seems that sunflower seeds are another healthy ingredient to add in a salad.

Me, I´m eating fruit salad.

On the other note, I don't think that simply altering your food intake will do anything for your gut flab If you want to sort that out, then you'll have to start doing weight-lifting and some cardiovascular stuff.

Just looked it up Pink lady is actually a cross between golden delicious and the Aussie lady williams. I bought a pack of granny smiths last night. Wasn't eating though. I held out until noon today and then had a salad, some mashed potatoes and salsbury steak at a restaurant before seeing the food movie Julie and julia. Couldn't go to that movie hungry.

I also ate to give me energy to lift weights tonight. I lift ALL the time. I've got my chest up to 43 inches. But my waste is 34. I remember when my chest was 40 and I had a 30 waist - in my 20s. It's just REALLY hard to keep the fat off the waist when you get old. It's VERY easy when you are in your 20s. You'll find out in 15 years.

twistermind wrote:@ Parador, I know a way to loose some weight if you want to have some motivation at the beginning of a healthy diet. I repeat "a healthy diet" not a diet based on burgers.
You can do this only in a week. Have for breakfast a plate of strawberries or a shakemilk of strawberries (only with a litte of milk and a glass of strawberries). Then, don´t eat anything in the next two hours. Then you can eat a healthy and balance diet the rest of the day. I don´t know but it seems that strawberries have a substance with help to remove fat. You can´t abuse of this trick. Only for a week. Then, it´s a matter of you to eat a balance and healthy diet.
Physical exercise, like Chucky says, it´s very important to.

hey - I ate a SALAD, alright?

Sunflower seeds? I did an experiment/project on them once: I had to determine the soluble/insoluble fat, protein, carbohydrate, moisture, and ash content of them. I did the project two years ago and can send the report to you if you want. The sunflower is a beautiful flower.

What about cashew nuts? I love cashews. One of my favorite snacks is OJ and cashew nuts.

Last night I had a chocolate bar dipped in peanut butter. Now I'm not eating again today. Only some pills and a mento.

Is it the fasting? Nothing wrong with fasting. As long as you maintain fluid intake.

No, the only other foods I analysed were barley seeds, maize/corn, and sausage beef. It's interesting to see the various components of each. Interestingly, if you look at the back of any cheap cat/dog food tin, you'll be schocked at its composition: They are around 85% water, with the highest-composition solid component being ash, followed by protein. Still, that meat tastes nice.
