Yep. My brother and I used to text each other haiku’s all the time. Occasionally he sends his in Japanese despite the fact that I can’t understand it.
In Japanese?

I have only read Haikus written by Mario Benedetti, but some days ago I was looking for some in English. I found this one that I really like by Richards Wright:
I am nobody:
A red sinking autumn sun
Took my name away

Did you know that there are 1,000s of different types of tomatoe? You'd think that there was only one or two. Anyway, I might have a job offered to me in Japan - Tokyo to be precise. Should I take it?

Well, this wasn't really about tomatoes, you know. I was trying to offer up that poetry thing that mata hari originally posted. But to yourquestion, YES. Absolutely. Get out into the world and see it.. the big world. Yes, go live in Japan for awhile. What an adventure. What an opportunity.
