What inspired your username?

When we made our first post here, we System Veterans weren't aware of more than maybe 30 of us?

One of our online friends who has been a really great support for us in our journey of discovering the system (which isn't over, I feel) calls us denizens, and that stuck with a lot of us (especially those of us in Central Management). The username DozensOfDenizens was suggested by said friend when we were trying to think of a good username that didn't have our body's real first name.

It's interesting how we went from a little over two dozen denizens to now 6.25 dozen denizens in less than a week. The head count was floating around 20 denizens for about a month, and the DID forum just opened the floodgates. It's been an amazing experience. It's going to be an amazing journey discovering the rest of our system.

Did you know that quote was picked up from the Bible, and isn't unique to the movie?

Jesus asks a man showing behavior of insanity "What is your name?", and the man responds with that line.

i know ,i saw it before i posted also.i had a dilemma before i wrote it if i should say from the bible but if i am honest i remember it from movies.
i don't even remember the specific movie,i remember the line and name legion,that i probably have seen in more than one movie lol

Honestly, if Legion didn't have such negative connotations this would be a pretty good name for us since we've got so many of us. xD

Interestingly enough... while showering just now we discovered a faction who resides in our Dreamland who calls themselves Legion. They orchestrated a lot of our really disturbing nightmares growing up. xP

Short story by Dostoevsky this time. Used to be Lion King. Shenzi is one of hyienas, means 'savage' in Swahili and it's how my boyfriend used to call me whenever my behaviour'd contradict the idealized picture in his head. A symbolism for going back to being the person I was before the relationship. Lion King also ripped Shakespeare off, but that one was just a lucky reference.

5 hours long livestream on Youtube called Pigeon Fest. I found it hilarious that there were hardly any pigeons.

Some random piece of genetic code of a bacteria, I think.
Although I'm pretty sure I was drunk at that time, so I might have just made it up.
